d.ashunds & 2012 here we come

wow....it has been a while.....this year is on and I'm desperately trying to get moooving. Kids are back at school at last after a looong holiday. I've got my teeth sinking into some exciting projects so watch this space. 

When I was trying to think of a name to call my business, because yes, I suppose that is what it is, as awful as that sounds to me, I obviously played with a couple of names. I have an entrepreneurial brother who lives in the US and he has always named everything and has been pretty good at it: cars, dogs, cats ["kitty" that wasn't very imaginative] games, furniture, he suggested dASH and his reasoning was:

"We oohed and we ached and then we saw that it was AHd. 

We were in Ahd of the design. 

dAsh. Hmmm. I like this one. Design. Ashley Heron. (you can use a Daschund as your logo). No I do like this one. You're fast and clever. And kind of dot.commy. Or is that dot.commie in SA? I think you may be a commie in America, I am anyway."

so there we had it and thanks to Corrin Magowan for my logo d.ash was born.....and yes, I do own a d.ashund!
